About Me
Hello, I’m Paul McCullough, a proud Texan, conservative, and dedicated public servant running for Gun Barrel City Council Place 1. I’m a father, grandfather, and Air Force Veteran who signed up to serve our country during the Vietnam War. With a strong background in business management, industrial technology, and community leadership, I’m committed to making Gun Barrel City a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
- Education:
- I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University.
- I also hold a Master’s Degree in Industrial Technology from East Texas State (now Texas A&M - Commerce).
- Professional Experience:
- I served as a Production Manager for Motorola, where I gained valuable experience in leadership and operations.
- I’ve served as Treasurer on the Economic Development Corporation and as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, working to improve our city’s growth and development.
- Military Service:
- I’m an Air Force Veteran who signed up to serve during the Vietnam War. I chose to enlist because I believed in serving my country.
- I’m also a proud member of the American Legion.
